Hi my name is Crystal, and I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, commonly referred to as PCOS, for those who do not know. PCOS affects between 5-10% of American women. With PCOS comes many other health condition factors, as well as infertility factors that all play together. One of those infertility factors I also have which is ultra low Anti Mullerian Hormone Function (AMH) levels. These levels tell the doctors what your Ovarian reserve (amount of eggs you have) is at. A normal woman my age should be at 3.0-3.5, my levels are at 0.153. Along with this, my husband was diagnosed with morphology issues. He has fell into the 2% range for normal shaped sperm. The range they like men to be in is 4-10%.

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about 3 years now. However, PCOS and his morphology has made his a dead end, or at least extremely hard to achieve. Now we are in the process of getting my PCOS under control so my hormones are in a good range. With this and some help with a little bit of assistance from science, by using the IVF method we are hoping to achieve a healthy full-term pregnancy.
