My name is Britney, and we are the Merrills. For the past eight years, we’ve held onto a dream that feels just out of reach—the dream of holding our final baby in our arms. Our journey has been marked by heartbreak, hope, and an unshakable love that keeps us moving forward.

It started with our first miscarriage, a loss that shook us to our core. Soon after, we learned I have a rare genetic condition called Robertsonian Translocation, which means most of my eggs carry chromosomal abnormalities. Out of every six, only two could potentially lead to a healthy pregnancy. Since then, we’ve endured five more miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy that took my left fallopian tube. Each loss left us grieving not just a pregnancy, but a future we so desperately wanted.

This June, we received another difficult diagnosis: adenomyosis. With my age and medical history, time isn’t on our side. IVF is our last hope—a chance to retrieve the few healthy eggs I have and finally bring our baby home. But the cost is overwhelming. Between genetic testing, medications, and the procedure itself, we’re facing tens of thousands of dollars we simply can’t cover alone.
