Campaign Story

We are Brent and Nicole! For those who don’t know us, we’ve been together for 8 years and married for (almost) 3! Nicole is 27 and Brent is 33. We love all things Disney, we visit Walt Disney World once a year (or once every other), live very close to Disneyland (our first date was at Disneyland!), love going on trips together, love visiting new places and trying new foods together and love spending time together. We run an amazing swim school together and love what we do. Nicole has dreamt of being a mom since she was young and Brent has dreamt of being a dad for as long as he could remember. While we love being auntie and uncle and love our fur babies, we want to be blessed with being mommy and daddy to a little bundle of joy.

When we first met, Nicole was diagnosed with PCOS. We didn’t think too much of it. When we decided we were ready to start trying for a family at the end of 2020, we were left with irregular cycles and realizing this may be harder than we planned. We spent all of 2021, driving an hour each way to LA once a week, for testing, treatment and endless Dr visits to treat Nicole’s PCOS. At the beginning of 2022, we realized it had been a year with no avail. Mid 2022, cycles began becoming normal, but still, no answer. So, a visit was made with the Dr that was treating Nicole’s PCOS. She immediately suggested Brent get tested and we immediately found out there was a whole other layer of complications we were not ready for or would know about. We were diagnosed with low morphology, low motility, and low count. Brent spent a year following the Drs advice and all numbers have come up to normal numbers, except the morphology. We’ve been told that we’re struggling between the PCOS and male factor infertility. Our chances of conceiving naturally are 0.01%. While this is low, we have been given some positive news. We have been told by our current Dr that we are amazing candidates for IUI and even better candidates for IVF.

Because we own a business, we do not have health insurance with fertility benefits. We need more tests done for Brent, and/or we need treatment (IUI or IVF), that we can not afford out of pocket. We are looking for help and guidance and hope that God grants us a beautiful baby in his time. While we know our journey can be short compared to many other struggling couples, we are hoping our story reaches those who are looking to help a couple start their dream of being parents. Any donation is appreciated – big or small. We thank you for taking the time to read our story
