Campaign Story

Hi! We are the Spoonts family- John, Leah, and Matthew. John and I have been together nearly 5 years now and we have known for awhile that we want to expand our family to include a little one of our own. Unfortunately, John had to have surgery last year which caused a lot of scar tissue leading to our infertility. We have tried multiple procedures to assist in our journey, but they have been unsuccessful at this point and our fertility specialist believes IVF is our only option. The only downside to this is the cost as we are looking at about $2,000 in diagnostics, $14,500 for the IVF package (including ISCI, retrieval, and transfer), $2,000 for frozen embryo handling, and anywhere from $4,000-$8,000 in medication costs. This is a completely unexpected cost to us, and unfortunately at a bad time as I just graduated from school in May of this year meaning student loans are coming due. If any of our family, friends, or even those who feel inclined to give, we would be more than grateful. We are a fun, loving family who values the time we spend with one another and we cannot wait to add another kiddo into our lives.
