Campaign Story

Hello we are the Sutton’s. I’m Clarence and wife’s name is Dia. We have been married for 3 year’s. In 2022 we decided to try to have our first child together. We got pregnant and were ecstatic, then a few months into the pregnancy my wife had a miscarriage and we were devastated. After taking time to heal we decided to try again in 2023. We set a deadline for December that if we didn’t get pregnant by then we would give up. We got pregnant around September. We were so looking forward to our baby girl coming in the summer. We had some complications early on they discovered a mass on the babies heart. As the pregnancy progressed the mass shrunk in size so everything was great. In June of 2024 my wife goes in for a routine check up its almost delivery time and the notice a problem with the babies blood pressure. They send her to the er and after some time they decided it’s best to do an emergency C section. The baby was born and after a couple minutes they say that her breathing wasn’t steady. After 2 days in the NiCU our baby girl passed away. We couldn’t understand it because all the progress reports were saying she was improving. We still today don’t know what the exact cause of death was. We called an attorney whose investigation found severe negligence on the part of the hospital so we have since filed suit. The reason we are starting this fundraiser is we want to try again but we face a problem. We both believed that our baby girl would be our last so my wife had her tubes tied during the C section. We could have never guessed what happened. I’m not good at things like this, I’m a very proud man but we have no other option but to hope someone out there can be touched by our story and decided to bless us. We are so close we have paid for everything out of pocket up to this point including all the medication, labs and visits. The $11, 000 we are trying to raise is what we need to start the implantation. We humbly ask for any help we can get. Thanks for taking the time to read our story. God bless🙏.
