Campaign Story

I am Marquita Joyner and my infertility issue is due to an tubal ligation blockage and scared tissues. I had to make the difficult decision of getting my tubes tied or to continue trying different forms of birth control that were causing my hormones to spirial out of control. I would bleed longer than average women sometimes heavier than it should have been. I kept getting multiple cyst and painful menstrual cramps and eventually grew tired of experiencing the same old problem each month so I thought opting for a more permanent solution that didnt require me taking birth control would be a better option. Boy I couldn’t have been more wrong.

I received a tubal ligation in July of 2012 after the birth of my daughter. I clearly didn’t think it through what I was giving up. I just knew that I was in a very toxic and domestic marriage the first time around and wanted out. So I bravely built up the carriage to finally walk away for myself and my children, plus on top of having all these personal issues I was dealing with I just didn’t see more children in my future or love after being broken and discouraged.

Fast forward to today. I’m in a better place. I am happy, I am at peace and I found my forever soulmate. I remarried in February of 2021 and now my spouse and I would like to expand our family. However fertility treatments as we know are not cheap. Without insurance to cover treatments the cost of fertility treatments are very expensive. So we have been searching for grants to assist in the cost and decided to take a chance on trying to raise money as well.

We will not give up hope on our chance at adding a new edition to our family. We’re asking for your help achieving our goal. Please help us on this new path by donating to our fundraiser. We are seeking assistance with this financial burden for fertility treatments, and we would be humbly honored if you could find it in your heart to help. Even if its just $5 or $10 dollars every little bit helps put us that much closer to our little bundle of joy and our goal. It would mean the world to us if you help us fight for our future blessing.
