Hello, first I want to thank you so much for reading! My name is Serena and I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary syndrome or PCOS as soon as I turned 18. I was told that I may not be able to have children, which was devastating to say the least. Fast forward to now, I’m 27 and my husband and I have been trying to start a family for over 2 years now. When my husband and I first met 7 years ago, we shared a future common goal, which is the desire to have a family of our own one day. Trying to conceive on our own for a few years was not getting us anywhere. So, we have been going to a fertility clinic for over a year now. After loads of fertility testing, we discovered another road block, literally; I have an obstructed right Fallopian tube, which has made it twice (probably more) as difficult to conceive. With our circumstances, we have been told repeatedly by medical professionals that we are great candidates for IVF due to my age and our situation. The one and only barrier to us going through the IVF process is the inevitable financial aspect. Andrew and I both work full time in healthcare, but in our current world it has been difficult to make ends meet, let alone save up enough for IVF. With that being said, we would be eternally grateful to anyone who could or would donate to our cause, because every single bit counts. Thank you much for reading our story.
