Campaign Story

Hello!

Thank you for taking a moment to read our story. We’re Kelly and Thomas, a couple who have shared both unimaginable challenges and incredible hope. Like so many newlyweds, we started our marriage dreaming of adventures, laughter, and one day growing our family. We never imagined that just a month after saying “I do,” our lives would take such an unexpected turn.

Just one month after our wedding, our world was turned upside down when my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 nasopharyngeal carcinoma. What should have been the happiest time of our lives became a fight for his life. Thomas faced chemotherapy and radiation with incredible strength and courage, and while we’re so grateful he’s now in remission, the treatment left him infertile. Before beginning chemo, he preserved his sperm — a small but precious hope that one day we could still have a child.

Through this journey, I was inspired to become an oncology nurse, dedicating my career to giving hope, comfort, and strength to others walking the same path we once did. While caring for others has been deeply meaningful, our greatest hope remains — to build a family together, one that represents love, healing, and a second chance at life.

We’re fundraising to make this dream possible. IVF is not just a procedure for us; it is the bridge to a future we’ve been dreaming of since our wedding day. Every bit of support brings us closer to turning hope into reality and beginning the next chapter of our lives together. A chapter filled with love, resilience, and the joy of creating our family.

To make this journey even more meaningful, we’ve created something special called “Letters of Hope.” We’re inviting anyone who donates or supports us to write a short message, prayer, or wish for our future baby. These letters will be placed in a time capsule that we’ll one day share with our child — a beautiful reminder of the love and community that helped bring them into the world.
