Campaign Story

Hello we are David & Di ,
Our story began almost 5 years ago in 2020 when we met from starting a friendship that quickly blossomed into a love neither of us thought existed. We met what we deem late in life he at the time being he was 38 I was 32 neither of us at the time had thoughts of having a child or children of our own together as we both clearly had lives prior to finding one another David has fathered 2 bio children both being adults and I having 3 bio children 1 adult and 2 following quickly behind .

Fast forward 2023 David 42 and I 36 began the serious talks of having a child together as we were both getting older and about to get married having that experience and that part of us became tremendously important a child of our own one of the greatest joys life has to offer and symbol of our love and story .

We married in July 2023 and quickly began planning our IVF journey thinking it was going to be a breeze for us as at the time we didn’t think we had any major obstacles a head of us however in November 2023 when our journey set forth that quickly changed we found out that I suffer from Low AMH and DOR making our journey much more harder I also have suffered from endometriosis for the last 15 years on top of that . First clinic we went to we had our first cycle cancled in January due to lack of follicles among not such a good experience with that clinic so we moved forward to another clinic .

That journey started in March of 2024 remaining hopeful and optimistic and after lifestyle changes lots of testing supplements medications my follicle counts went from 6, 3, 5, 4, 7, 11 July came and it was time to attempt our 2nd cycle with having so much improvement we were ready so I began the medication protocol for an egg retrieval everything started out wonderful things kept looking great and part way through my body decided to fail me yet again I developed a cyst on my ovary causing me to have too high of an estrogen level to proceed so yet another cycle was canceled and we were devastated.

They decided August we would try again.

August came we began again this time having 8 follicles everything is going great we are making it then half way through stim meds they say you only have 1 follicle responding we aren’t sure if there’s going to be a retrieval immediately I’m heartbroken feeling absolutely defeated and entirely over the emotional roller-coaster this has brought us we get a phone call dr. Is going to retrieve the 1egg we are hopeful again believing this is it this is going to be our time knowing it only takes 1 dr extends my meds for 2 days just to give my egg a little more boost .

Retrieval day happens we are excited everything went great , next day get word that we have an embryo we ask for a time for transfer as a day 3 was planned told we will find out call you back and then yet again boom hit with more bad news ” your egg did fertilize so you do have 1 embryo however your egg was of questionable quality so someone will call you tomorrow to let you know when a transfer will be done or not but remain cautiously optimistic “,.

Next day came and our dreams shattered into a million pieces as the phone call we received was to tell us our Embryo had stopped growing ..

So here we are after all this hoping again but this time we need a little help as we exhausted all our funds getting this far but hoping somehow someway to make this dream of ours become a reality .
