My dream of becoming a mother has been challenged by both medical and personal circumstances. At 44 years old, I find myself facing the realities of infertility due to fibroids and endometriosis – conditions that have not only caused years of physical pain and emotional struggle but have also diminished my chances of conceiving naturally.
As a single woman, my journey has been unique. Without a partner to share this path, I have carried both the weight of these diagnoses and the responsibility of pursuing motherhood on my own. Despite the setbacks, I have not let go of the deep desire to nurture and raise a child. Motherhood has always been at the core of who I am and who I aspire to be.
Yet, the financial barriers to fertility treatment feel insurmountable. At this stage in my life, time is not on my side, and the cost of procedures, medications, and specialized care far exceed what I can manage alone. The support of this fundraiser would not only ease the financial burden but would also offer me something even greater: hope. Hope that after years of pain, surgeries, and disappointment, I can finally take steps towards creating the family I have long prayed for.
I believe my journey has made me resilient, compassionate, and prepared for the challenges and joys of Parenthood. I have endured the heartache of infertility, but I have not lost my faith in the possibility of becoming a mother.
