Campaign Story

Hello! My name is Emma and my husband‘s name is Francisco. Recently we found out that my husband has a low sperm count, and it’s helped us realize why we’ve been struggling for the last 2 1/2 years to get pregnant. I am hoping to go and get tested myself to see if I am also part of why we are struggling so much. We are both both the oldest children in our family and it has been our dream to start our own family. My husbands sister, who is six years younger than us, ended up getting pregnant and nobody was expecting that it would happen before we got pregnant. When I heard the news, I was extremely happy for them, but it also broke my heart, it has been almost a year since their baby was born and I love being around him and spending time with him, but it just makes me long to have our own child. One thing that frustrates me so much about the entire thing is that my sister-in-law‘s boyfriend said that getting pregnant was the easiest thing they’ve ever done. My husband and I have been trying for 2 1/2 years with no success and according to his brother-in-law, it was the easiest thing ever so it hurt even more when he said that to us. There have definitely been days when I’ve wanted to just give up after looking at a negative pregnancy test. To those who want to support and help us with our journey, we greatly appreciate it because without this we wouldn’t be able to do what we really want to, which is to start our family.
