Campaign Story

Hi to all! We are Laurie and Steven, and we have been trying for our own family for 4 years. We always wanted children, we have 12 nieces and nephews, and tons more cousins having babies and kids. We cherish our time spent with them and want nothing more than to have that ourselves! I’ve had PCOS, ovary and endometriosis surgeries since I was 14 years old, but the doctors felt I was still fertile. After having 2 miscarriages at first, my doctor decided to try to help with medication. That failed after 5 months. We went to a fertility specialist only to find I had a dilated fallopian tube and needed it removed. This was held off due to COVID, but I finally had the surgery 7/2020, only to find more cysts and endometriosis. Again, doctors cleared me and I should be able to get pregnant through IVF. We saved every penny, and after 4 rounds of shots and medications for the egg retrievals, I could not produce more than 4 eggs. They fertilized but sadly never made it to day 5 for implantation. Our last treatment failed the day before this past Christmas Eve. We are absolutely devastated, and to find out that I cannot produce healthy viable eggs at 37 years old is heart breaking.
Our only option is to have an egg donor. I’ve wanted nothing more in life than to experience that amazing bond a mother can feel being pregnant with a child.

This is where we need help creating our little miracle! After all the IVF treatments, we have spent everything we saved. The lowest cost for a frozen egg donor is $14,600 for on average 6 eggs. We need this help to create our family.
