Campaign Story

My name is Leah, and for as long as I can remember, I dreamed of being a mother. Growing up being the oldest of four, I loved being surrounded by my family. My siblings were and still are my best friends. I was one of those little girls who played with their dolls and pretending to be the family I would eventually dream of having.

Unfortunately, God did not bring the man I love into my life until later. My husband, Thomas, is not perfect, but he is perfect for me. I had to go through several frogs to get to my prince. This is the first marriage for each of us, and I will ask him sometimes why he did not find me sooner in life. Going into our marriage neither of us have children, so having just one miracle baby would fill our hearts with more joy than I know we can even imagine.

Thomas and I started trying to get pregnant when we got married and working with our fertility clinic. We did not realize the tough journey that would be in store of us. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions for the last year and a half. We have even done three unsuccessful IUI’s along with other options, and now we are looking to do IVF.
