Campaign Story

My name is Alexa Faulk, and I suffered through two ectopic pregnancies resulting in the rupturing of both of my fallopian tubes. My pregnancy losses happened in October 2018 and June 2019. In a span of only 8 months, not only did I lose my two children, but I almost lost my own life which changed my life forever. My husband and I were married October 16, 2020 and have been wanting to expand our family. My only chance of carrying my own child is by IVF treatments. I have always dreamed of having a large family, but those plans were altered by the challenges I now face. I was blessed beyond measure to keep my own life, but it would mean the world to me to raise enough money to bring our rainbow baby in the world.I have been blessed with two step sons whom I adore, but I would give anything for the experience of bringing a child into the world. My dream has never been to be a lawyer or a doctor. My dream has always been to be a devoted wife and mother to a family of my own. I never expected half of that dream to be taken away so abruptly. I don’t come here asking you to donate everything you have, but every bit helps. Maybe, just maybe, I will be able to look back one day and say the wait was worth it, because I know deep down it will be worth it.
