Campaign Story

My name is Jasmine and I am a big believer in faith.  My husband and I have been on a faith journey for a while now believing for our first child together.  That’s why we have decided to name our future daughter Faith.  I titled this campaign Realizing Faith because I believe that she will become our reality soon! (We would be just as happy for a boy FYI).

Sadly, I have been suffering with the painful and inconvenient symptoms of fibroids since 2020. I had surgery to remove my large fibroids in February 2022, but by the end of the year the fibroids had grown back and I developed Adenomyosis.

Adenomyosis is a gynecologic condition that causes endometrial tissue in the lining of the uterus to grow into the muscular wall of the uterus. Adenomyosis in combination with fibroids causes me severe pelvic and abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, and has made it hard for my husband and I to have a child.

Although the doctor has diagnosed me with infertility, I refuse to accept that term, because I believe God will make a way for me as He has done for many other women. Also, there is power in your words so I do not speak that over myself. While I believe God can do a miraculous work in me to bring forth our child; He can also use the hands of doctors. That is why my husband and I have decided to consider fertility treatment options.

As some of you may know, the treatment options can be expensive.   But I refuse to let costs stop us from realizing our dream, which is why I am stepping out on faith to ask for help.  It is not easy putting your medical circumstances out for the world to see and judge, but that is what faith is all about.  Trusting God even when its uncomfortable.
