Hello everyone,

My name is Mikhail, I am 42 years old. I have wanted to have a child for some time but I waited for my now-ex.  After 8 years of waiting, when I finally walked away from the relationship, I went into the fertility clinic and discovered I may have waited too long. I am now in the early stages of perimenopause.

Of course I got started right away but I don’t have benefits to cover the medication. I have had to pay for everything out of my own pocket. I make alright money as an Uber driver but it’s not that good.

On October 22 I was in an accident. I was off the road for a couple weeks and it drained away every cent I had saved to cover my medications. The car was written off and I was hoping I could use that money to cover the cost of the whole treatment and be able to get good sleep in order for my hormones to be at the levels they need to be. At the last minute I discovered I had to switch clinics. The added costs started dipping into what money I had left. I am now short on funds to make it to the end of my treatment (by $4000 so far). I calculated it and even if I made 350 per day, everyday, working 12 hours per day, and short changing my sleep, I will still come up short by 500-1000.

Currently at this moment I still need to pay 8199 until the end of my treatment. I rounded down. I have already contacted benefits programs but because I already started the process I would not be covered for the cost of the medication.

I need help. Please.
