Campaign Story

My name is Samantha, and my husband Kelly and I have spent years dreaming of becoming parents. Family has always been at the center of our lives, and building a family of our own is something we have hoped and prayed for throughout our marriage.

Our journey to parenthood has been filled with challenges. We have undergone multiple IVF cycles and embryo transfers, investing not only significant financial resources but also our hearts, hopes, and emotions into each attempt. When those treatments were unsuccessful, we pursued a vasectomy reversal in hopes of creating another path to parenthood, but unfortunately that procedure was unsuccessful as well. Despite these setbacks, we have not given up on our dream of having a child.

Part of my determination comes from my own family story. Before I was born, my mother spent nine years trying to have a baby. Through years of heartbreak, disappointment, and uncertainty, she never stopped believing that one day she would become a mother. Eventually, that dream came true, and I was born. Growing up with that story taught me the power of perseverance and hope, and it continues to inspire me as Kelly and I navigate our own fertility journey at a new facility.

Over the years, we have spent tens of thousands of dollars on fertility treatments, procedures, medications, and a vasectomy reversal, all in pursuit of growing our family. While we are fortunate to be able to provide a loving stable home for a child, the cost of additional fertility treatment is more than we can manage on our own.

We are fundraising because another IVF cycle represents our best opportunity to finally become parents. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to achieving the dream we have worked so hard to reach.
