Hello for those who don’t know us, Sherod and I are both US Army soldiers. We have been together for 4 years. We met in 2019 and started dating in 2020 just before COVID, prior to joining the Army. We both fell hard for one another during the pandemic and became inseparable. Starting a family of our own is something that we always wanted. We got married just after the pandemic, and both Sherod and I went off to join the Army soon after. When we both finally returned home together from basic training, we were finally ready to start trying to grow our family.
My husband and I have always dreamed of having children and building a loving family together. However, after years of trying to conceive naturally, we were devastated to learn that we were facing infertility issues. This news was incredibly difficult for both of us, and it has been a challenging emotional journey. After seeking guidance from multiple fertility specialists and trying multiple different treatments, we learned that IVF could be the best option for us to achieve pregnancy.
While this process offers hope, it also comes with significant financial costs. Despite these challenges, we remain determined to pursue IVF as a pathway to parenthood.
