Campaign Story
Hi! My name is Rachael. I am currently a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. I spend my nights pouring my heart into helping save the tiniest of lives—fragile, beautiful little miracles. My career has filled me with purpose and deepened my love for the incredible strength of new life. Now, I’m hoping for a miracle of my own.
This isn’t quite the path I thought I’d be walking. I always imagined I’d be married with children by now—building a family alongside a partner. But life doesn’t always unfold the way we picture it. As I approach my 38th birthday, I’ve had to face a hard truth: time isn’t waiting; and the dream that matters most to me—becoming a mother—is one I don’t want to let slip away.
So I’ve made the decision to pursue motherhood on my own. It’s unconventional, yes. It’s not easy. But it’s right for me. I know the road ahead will be challenging—being a single working mom by choice means sacrifice and resilience. But I believe with my whole heart that the love and stability I can offer a child is more than enough.
While I’m grateful to have a solid job in nursing, the reality is that donor sperm and fertility treatments are expensive—especially at my age, when I may need multiple vials to increase my chances of success. Between the cost of the sperm, shipping, and storage, the financial burden is overwhelming.
That’s why I’m fundraising—to ask for help in making this dream come true. If you feel moved to support me, know that your kindness isn’t just helping me pursue motherhood—you’re helping create a home full of love, laughter, and purpose.
Thank you for reading, and for believing in the power of unconventional, but deeply intentional, family.
