Campaign Story

My name is Lauren. I am a registered nurse for the emergency department. I am compassionate in helping others during a very critical time in their life. I strive to help others in desperate times of need. This is why I am asking for your help in our fertility journey. My husband Michael and myself have been trying for a successful pregnancy for the last 8 years. We have suffered 7 miscarriages in a row without any living children. It has been absolute heartbreak, isolation and hopelessness for us. I have been diagnosed with recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL). I have undergone a septoplasty of my uterus, hysteroscopy, numerous blood testings, chromosomal/karyotype testings, D&C testing of the fetus to rule out anything to be causing these horrible losses we’ve experienced. My husband has undergone surgery as well with having a small amount varicocele veins being removed from his prostate area. We have followed every referral and recommendations our Reproductive Endocrinology team have provided to us. Still no luck in achieving a successful pregnancy. The RE team recommend at this point we start the IVF journey. As many are aware, this process is very expensive and can dig a financial burden to many families. We are asking for any help we can receive. We our putting our entire life and hearts into being gifted our rainbow baby. We appreciate ANY and all support we can receive.
