Campaign Story

Hannah and Dillon Stieb were married in
November 2019, in Hannah’s last year of
nursing school at Central Methodist University near Columbia, MO. The couple had plans to try to start expanding their family after Hannah got established at her job in the Neonatal ICU at MU Healthcare. Hannah has now been a NICU nurse for almost 2 years. In October 2020, the couple began making active efforts to expand their family. With no success, in January 2022 after countless appointments with various doctors, the couple was diagnosed with male-based infertility. Thisabsolutely shattered them. After 3 different opinions about fertility treatment options, a physician stated that the couple likely would not have a successful pregnancy without the help of in vitro fertilization (IVF). Unfortunately, IF is one of the most expensive fertility treatments that are offered. With the clinic that Hannah and Dillon would need treatment at in St. Louis, IF is $21,000. Most insurances throughout the country do not offer fertility coverage, and this is the case with their insurance. 0% is covered and the full amount of $21,000 is due at the time of treatment. Without IVF, Hannah and Dillon will be unable to have a successful pregnancy and will not be able to add a child to their family- something they have longed for since the early stages of their relationship. Please consider helping this couple make IVF possible as they continue the journey to being able to expand their family. 100% of donations and proceeds will go to their fertility clinic in St. Louis to help fund the procedure.
