Campaign Story

Hello, we are Shon and Julie, a military family looking to bring a blessed child into our lives. Julie is a veterinarian and Shon is retired from the military. We live on a large farm in East Tennessee that provides a home to several animals. Like many out there, our journey to have a child has been long and emotional. We have been trying to conceive for 6 years, suffering a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, and many failed attempts at fertility treatments. Fortunately, we were blessed to have a beautiful baby boy, Nicholas, who has brought so much joy to our lives. We are so thankful for him every single day. We both came from a family with many siblings and would like to expand our family and provide Nicholas with a sibling. Unfortunately, during the last IVF treatment, a rare complication occurred, making future treatments risky and likely unsuccessful. After consideration of many options, we are hoping to pursue embryo adoption. We appreciate the challenges that so many women have faced with IVF treatments, allowing them to successfully produce multiple embryos. We also appreciate that many of these embryos are no longer wanted and may never have the opportunity at life. We are hoping to adopt one of these embryos, providing a loving and devoted family.

We are humbly asking for you to support us in this journey by donating to this fundraiser. Although a less expensive route than traditional IVF, there are still significant costs associated with embryo adoption. We would be so grateful for any gift you are willing to provide. We appreciate you taking the time to read our story. Bless you.
