Campaign Story

Hi everyone, my name is Pathma, and this is the most personal story of my life — one of love, loss, faith, and perseverance.
I married later in life at 39 years old after many years of caring for my aging parents. During that time, marriage and family were the last things on my mind — my focus was entirely on them. And my parents didn’t want me to get married either but I met a wonderful man and married him. We both went through a very abusive childhood and we began to dream of starting a normal happy family together.
Our journey to parenthood has been far from easy. I went through numerous IVF treatments — round after round of hope, disappointment, and tears. During my very first IVF, I got pregnant, but sadly, I lost my baby at 4 months… and it happened during my father’s funeral. That pain nearly broke me.
But I refused to give up. I kept going, believing that one day I would hold my miracle baby in my arms. And finally, after nine IVF treatments, that miracle happened — our sweet baby girl was born. She is our light, our joy, and the reason I wake up every morning with gratitude.
Now, she is our only child, and it’s just the three of us here in the United States — no extended family, no relatives nearby. As we grow older (I’m in my mid-40s and my husband in his early 50s), one thought deeply saddens us: the fear that our little girl may one day be alone without family around her.
That’s why we are trying — with all our hearts — to have one more baby. Not out of greed, but out of love. We just want to give our daughter a sibling, a lifelong companion, someone to look out for her when we are no longer around.
Unfortunately, fertility treatments and donor eggs are very expensive, and after years of treatments, we’ve exhausted most of our savings. That’s why I’m here — humbly asking for help.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward:
Fertility consultation and medical tests
Egg donor program fees
IVF treatment costs
Medication and lab fees
Your support means more than money — it means hope, family, and the chance for our little girl to have a sibling to share her life with.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story, for your kindness, and for believing that miracles can happen — even after years of heartbreak.
With love and gratitude,
Pathma & Family ❤️
