Hello everyone!
My name is Audra Jones and my husband is Luke Jones. We are on an incredible journey to expand our family. Unfortunately, due to having a kidney transplant back in 2014, I am unable to carry. Despite the setback, we refuse to let this ruin our dreams of becoming parents! My husband and I have faced several challenges throughout the years together. Now, we are reaching out to our community in hopes of helping us financially start our family.
A little about us!
My husband and I both grew up here in Norman. We went to high school together and were involved in sports, including: football, baseball, wresting, and dance/pom. We have known each other now for about 17 years. We both still talk about hanging out at the neighborhood pool back when we were in middle school. We have been married a year now, come July. I have been a nurse for over 5 years and work in dialysis. I love that I have personal experience in dialysis myself and love hearing how I can relate and help give back to my patients! My husband is an operations manager for a business in the city. We love spending time together, exploring new places, and taking care of our fur baby.
Surrogacy can financially cost on the upwards of $200,000 from start to finish. It’s a very extensive and timely process. We are super blessed and thankful to be able to pursue this with the help of our family, friends, and loved ones.

Surrogacy update
Here are some newer updates on our surrogacy journey.
If you are new, Luke and I are currently going through surrogacy due to having a kidney transplant. My kidney is healthy, which is why we don’t want to risk a chance of losing the kidney & ending back on dialysis. Pregnancy is hard in general but only having 1 kidney would more than likely send me into kidney failure. Luke and I have agreed it would be safer for someone else to carry our baby.Luke and I have completed all necessary steps needed before transferring our embryo to our surrogate at this point. Getting to this point has been somewhat easy but stressful. If you are not familiar with surrogacy, the journey is a complete roller coaster emotionally. There are so many steps, along with the “what ifs” in order to get to the main reason why we are doing this!

*Escrow account fully fundedThese are steps we have gone through to make it to this point. Luke and I have finalized our side of the contract and waiting for our surrogate and her lawyer to review and then finalize their side. We are hoping to be done with contracts by the end of Feb. Our surrogate will start medications for a months duration and then we will be ready for transfer!
We are so so lucky we are even able to have the choice of surrogacy. Surrogacy is not easy in anyway. It is emotionally and financially draining. If you are unaware, surrogacy can cost anywhere from 150k-200k. We are so fortunate my insurance has helped with thousands of dollars in this process as well as family and friends.
