Campaign Story

My name is MacKayla and I had to have a surgery as a young teenager for an ovarian cyst 9cm. When I went into surgery they realized that the cyst was on my right fallopian tube which I was unaware of because I had general anesthesia. Because I was a minor the surgeon asked my mother’s permission to remove my fallopian tube and my mother granted permission. When I awoke from surgery I was let know the news and was devastated. Me and my husband have been married for seven years and have been trying to conceive but due to the surgery it has not been successful. We are trying to get IVF treatment hoping for multiple embryos. We both work full time jobs and the treatment isn’t covered by our insurance. Whatever you can donate toward our treatment would greatly help us. Thank you
