Our Little Town, Our Big Dream
In a small Texas town, there lives a barber and a hauler who fell in love later in life, but with hearts full of hope.
I grew up carrying a scar no one could see — something that happened when I was young left me unable to easily become a mother. At 18, I became pregnant for the first time, only to learn it was an ectopic pregnancy. My baby could not survive, and neither could my right fallopian tube. Five years later, my miracle happened again… and heartbreak followed again. I lost my left tube too. With that, I lost the chance to ever conceive naturally.
Years passed. I wondered if love and family were things meant for other people — not me.
Then in 2025, I met him.
A hardworking hauler with a kind heart, who had also dreamed of becoming a dad but never had the chance. At 35, he had no children, just a quiet wish tucked inside his soul. We found each other, built a life together, and even bought our first home. Two people who had been through so much finally found their safe place.
All that’s missing now is the tiny heartbeat we pray for every day.
IVF is our only path to becoming parents — but it’s far more than we can afford. We’ve tried for loans and help, but our income and credit have made that door stay closed. Still, our hope hasn’t.
We aren’t asking for luxury — just for the chance to hold a child, to tuck them in at night, to hear “Mom” and “Dad” for the first time.
If you feel moved to help us, please know that you are helping two people who have waited their whole lives to love a child.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading our story.
God bless you.
