Hi there! Benjamin and Adrienne Hall here. Thanks for your curiosity about our fertility journey!

Allow us to introduce ourselves… our love story began when we were both 34 years old, after having experienced independent lives full of adventure. From the moment we met, it became evident (in just 4 months, to be precise) that we wanted to share every future adventure together. We were married a quick and fun 18 months after we met. Benjamin is an architect, while Adrienne works as a physician assistant specializing in pediatric bone marrow transplants.

Considering our age and a strong desire to have children, we eagerly began trying for a baby shortly after our wedding at the age of 36. Unfortunately, after 10 months of unsuccessful attempts, we underwent a comprehensive evaluation, expedited due to our age. The diagnosis we received was unexplained infertility. Adrienne has a family history of autoimmune conditions as well as endometriosis. Despite attempting various fertility treatments without success and our age, our doctor believes that in vitro fertilization (IVF) is the most viable next step for us.

However, the challenge we face is that IVF is not covered by insurance in our state. The cost of this treatment is substantial, amounting to well over $70,000 for six cycles. This places an enormous financial burden on families like ours. This cost in addition to the high cost of living where we are located and student loan debt, has made it not feasible for us to conceive using this treatment. We are eager to begin this process and to create the loving family we hope to have.
