Campaign Story

My name is Brooke and in the photos with me is my husband Nathan. We have been together 12 years and are high school sweethearts. We have been trying to conceive for 3 years now. Two years ago we purchased our first home in hopes of filling it with love and children. Most recently we discovered, we are suffering from infertility due to tubal blockage. In this case, it seems that our only option is IVF. The insurance we currently have does not cover any infertility treatments. We have been paying for all of the appointments, tests, and procedures out of pocket. The entire process has become financially draining. We want nothing more than to start a family. Would we be more than blessed to have just one child to love unconditionally, support, teach, nurture, and guide. Unfortunately the cost of IVF is something that is not attainable for us at this time in our lives. If you have ever struggled with infertility, you know that timing is everything. The longer we wait, the less likely our dream will become. My husband and I have both worked for everything we have ever had. We both had jobs at 15. I graduated high school early to pursue college and he went into the trades. We both worked 55+ hours a week to make sure I earned my degree. We are very determined individuals and knowing that we can’t overcome this infertility obstacle is devastating. I have always been a very proud person, but I also know there is a time in everyone’s life where they need to ask for help. This is us, asking for help to pursue our dream of starting a family.
