**Our Dream of Growing Our Family**

Hi, I’m Amanda. My husband, Adam, and I have been dreaming of expanding our family for years. I have a wonderful 12-year-old daughter, Mercedes, from a previous marriage, and Adam has no children of his own. Together, we long to bring another little one into our lives—but our journey to parenthood has been filled with more heartbreak and hurdles than we ever imagined.

Five years ago, we got pregnant soon after meeting, overjoyed at the thought of welcoming a baby. But just as quickly as our hope grew, it was shattered when we lost the pregnancy at eight weeks. We picked ourselves up, got married, and assumed that in time, we’d get our happy ending. But month after month passed with no positive test. After fertility medications didn’t work, Adam got tested—only to find his low testosterone was the first of many challenges.

We took the next step and sought help from a fertility clinic in another state (since IVF was banned in ours). There, we learned I have a low egg count and endometriosis, which required surgery. We pushed forward with IUIs, clinging to hope—but after two failed attempts, our third finally worked. For a few precious weeks, we celebrated… until another devastating loss at eight weeks. The pain only deepened when complications led to multiple procedures, each one chipping away at our hope.

Now, after years of heartache, countless appointments, and draining our savings, our doctor has told us IVF is our best chance. But the cost is staggering—and with no insurance coverage, we’ve already spent everything we have just to get this far.
