Hello,
We are Brendan and Sylvia Callahan.
We were happily married on October 17, 2020. We both married with lovely children separately, but no children together. In May 2021, we were blessed with the overwhelming Joyful thoughts of having our first baby together. Brendan had a vasectomy in 2009, so we began our journey forward to find options to get pregnant. We decided to seek a reverse vasectomy, Brendan had a reverse vasectomy September 28, 2022. On February 27, 2023, Brendan was advised to take a sperm analysis, to find the reverse vasectomy was not successful, there was no semen detected, which gave the Urologist the confirmation the Reversal failed, and there is blockage. Dr. Hsieh did confirm sperm is present when he did his surgery, he let us know our options, and due to my age, and blessed to still menstruate and ovulate, natural IVF with aspiration for sperm for Brendan was highly recommended, so Dr. Hsieh referred us to Hanabusa IVF. We spent time, tears, and paying out of pocket to pursue this dream of this beautiful addition to our family. We are at the point that we need help to make this dream come true. We know there are so many couples, with different journeys for a baby, and many prayers for them. As well as for ourselves.
