My Name Is Bethany Nowland. My Husband And I have been Trying to Conceive since 2015 (9 years). At First we Just thought it would just take time. After A few Years of not getting pregnant on our own. We reached out to a dr with them just saying I must have PCOS so in 2018 I was miss diagnosed as having PCOS after some time i went to get a 2nd opinion with them saying i did not have PCOS and that everything looked good with me and after doing test on my husband they said it was male factor. They claim a quick procedure could help so he went through it all for us to be the other percent of it not working. So then we were told the only option was to go through IVF so we go to Atlanta and everything goes good we got great result all my numbers an his were great and then the embroy didnt stick for some reason so the dr then tells me i need to have a procedure done to further test well it came back normal so we decided to go through IVF for the 2nd time because I just knew it would work well again everything was great during the treatment and when I went in after my 2 week wait after transfer all to find out it didn’t work. It left us devasted and more in debt then I Ever imagined. I felt so defeated mentally physically and finaincial so we decided to just take a break an see what happens well it’s been 2 years and it really stinks not being able to do anything. We filled out our application to adopt throught DHR hoping we would get approved an everything to finally get to be a family of 3 or more. We have always wanted children from the get go and it’s very hard because it hasn’t been eas for us ! We hope by making this fundraiser and sharing our story it helps someone else and will help us finally get our miracle rather it be biologically or through adoption I will love the child the same !
