Campaign Story

Tristan has a terminal mitochondrial disease—a condition that prevents his body from producing energy the way it should. This affects every system in his body and makes even basic daily tasks exhausting and unpredictable. There is no cure, and each day brings new challenges.

Our lives revolve around medical care, therapies, and constant monitoring. Some days Tristan has the strength to smile and play, and other days his body simply cannot keep up. As his parent, watching him fight battles he never chose is both heartbreaking and humbling.

We are fundraising to create a disabled-friendly home that supports Tristan’s needs and allows him to live with comfort, safety, and dignity. This includes accessible spaces, adaptive equipment, and a home environment that can grow with his medical needs.
