Campaign Story
Our names are Sara and Dustin. We have been married for 9 years and trying to grow our family for 6. Sara teaches at Bryant & Stratton College in their OTA Program while also still providing OT services to preschoolers in our community. Dusty is a veteran and a nurse at the local VA Hospital. After years of loss and failed infertility treatments, Sara was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis, with one tube damaged to the point of no repair. Even after surgery and medication, Sara was still unable to conceive and lost precious embryos to 2 failed IVF transfers. We have made the hard and brave decision to pursue surrogacy to help us make Sara’s biggest dream a reality: being a mom to a living child. As you can imagine, this journey has not been cheap, and will continue to cost a significant amount going forward. We are asking for donations to help us achieve this dream.
