Campaign Story

Hello, my name is Autumn, I’m 29 years old and I have always wanted to be a mom. I decided 3 years ago to become a foster to adopt mom, but during this time I’ve only gotten to foster and haven’t ever had the chance and ability to adopt. This is very important to me, and one of the many reasons it’s important to have a child/children is because my father always wanted to have biological grandchildren, but my brother never had kids and neither did I. My father passed away in 2020, and I only have my mom left. I want her to see my children and spend time with them and watch them grow up. I wasn’t able to give my father the gift of grandchildren, but I would very much like to for my mom. I’m an aunt, a teacher and a foster mom, and I love all of those titles! But I would like to add the title of just mom. I would like to be able to adopt the girls I’m currently fostering, but I’m not sure if that will be possible, and throughout this process has been many rollercoaster emotions, pain, heartache, and disappointment. I have fostered a total of 12 kids in 3 years, and with each placement that leave, and each new one that comes it gets harder and harder. This next step in my journey won’t be any easier, but I know it will definitely be worth it!
