Meet Nic and Dan, a loving same-sex couple embarking on an extraordinary journey towards parenthood through surrogacy.

Our journey together began like any other love story, filled with laughter, shared dreams, and unwavering support. As we navigated through our late twenties and early marriage days, our bond grew stronger with each passing day, continuously realizing we had found our soulmates in each other.

From the beginning, we’ve shared desire to start a family. For us, parenthood was not just a dream but a fundamental part of our future together. However, as a same-sex couple, we are keenly aware that our journey to parenthood might be different from others.

After extensive research and heartfelt conversations, we have decided that surrogacy is the best option for us to fulfill our dream of becoming parents. While we have made steps to secure financing to help support the cost of surrogacy, we also realize that the support of donors like you helps alleviate some of the financial strain of the journey along the way and enables us to pay down those loans and focus on raising our future child. If you yourself, or someone you know has gone through surrogacy, you know this does not begin to cover all the expenses.

We are excited about the possibility of bringing a child into our loving home, surrounded by family and friends, and providing them with all the love and support they could ever need.

Nic grew up in Bennington, ID. A small town in South Eastern Idaho, surrounded by extended family. It is a town where you rarely find a front door that is locked, nights spent camping with friends, playing night games throughout the town, early mornings working on the ranch. Living in a small town, family is everything where your best friends are your siblings and cousins. That remains the same today with the values instilled in the residents of Bennington.

Dan grew up in Brigham City, UT spending most weekends traveling to softball tournaments to watch his older or younger sister play. Every summer, we attending family reunions to see the extended cousins and keep close ties with family.

We have been married for ten years, completing degrees together (Dan, BA – Comm/Advertising & Nic, MA – Rhetorical Theory/PR), navigating careers, traveling to Germany, Mexico, Hawaii and across the Continental US, and building a life together moving back to Nic’s hometown in 2022.

As we embark on the surrogacy journey, we are filled with hope, anticipation, and profound gratitude. We both recognize the immense responsibility and privilege that comes with bringing a new life into the world and are committed to providing our child with unconditional love, support, and guidance.

With hearts full of love and minds brimming with excitement, we eagerly await the day when we will hold our precious bundle of joy in their arms, ready to embark on the incredible adventure of parenthood together. Our journey is not just about creating a family but also about celebrating love in all its forms and embracing the limitless possibilities that the future holds.
