This is us

We are the Davenports! We are from Tennessee and met in Nashville at our home church, The Donelson Fellowship. We have been married since 2013 and had our first child, Lily James Davenport in 2016. In 2019, we moved to Fredericksburg, VA to start a church and raise our family. Chris is a local Pastor and Megan is a school nurse. Lily is in second grade and loves school and gymnastics. We love God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength. We love spending time with one another, watching movies, playing games, working out, and being around friends.

Medical Story

Our desire has always been to have a huge family. We’ve always said that we wanted 8 kids, we’re not sure why the number but 8 has always sounded amazing, but it was 2012 when Megan was diagnosed with endometriosis and had her first surgery in 2013. Three years later, we were able to give birth to our miracle child, Lily. In 2017, we started trying for baby #2 and we were unsuccessful. In 2018, we went to a fertility specialist where Megan was diagnosed with infertility. Since the ovarian cysts and endometriosis have continued to return, the fertility specialist recommended we do IVF because of the higher success rate with women with endometriosis.

Fundraiser

The first way is through prayer. Pray this final step will be successful. The entire process has been challenging and draining. Please pray for our continued strength and encouragement.

The second way is through financial giving. 

The IVF journey comes at quite the cost and we would be honored if you could become a part of our story!  We are excited to share our puzzle fundraiser! Each puzzle piece is $20 and for every piece purchased your name will be written on its back! Every piece makes a difference, whether you generously purchase one piece, or 50 of them! When the puzzle is completed, it will be placed in Baby Davenport’s nursery as a reminder of all the love and support. Your donation is processed through a secure website and all the donations will go to the IVF medications and procedures.
