Campaign Story

My name is Christina Clark and have always dreamed of becoming a mom. I have Endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition in which cells similar to the lining of the uterus, or endometrium, grow outside the uterus. My periods are so painful that I have missed work, school and events due to the chronic pain. I have had to switch doctors four times to someone to take my pain seriously and to be put on a path with answers and healing. Having this disorder has blocked both of my fallopian tubes which has put us in the journey of IVF. Getting the news of blocked tubes was devastating. This disorder has taken so much from me.

We want to do everything possible to increase our success. We would like our embryos to be PGT tested. PGT stands for Preimplantation Genetic Testing. While this test screens for genetic diseases we want to use the test to increase our chances of pregnancy. PGT can lower the risk of miscarriage and increases chances of having a successful IVF cycle at first embryo transfer. This Journey already has so many ups and downs and there have been a lot of tears along the way. This money will help us know we did everything possible with our embryos a winning shot.
