Campaign Story

My name is Amy Kitterman. Me and my husband Korey meet in Highschool and started dating in 2008. We have been together for 14 years and just celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary. We have been on quite a fertility journey throughout our Marriage. We tried for many years to get pregnant through natural means as well as fertility treatments. The treatments and medications were very hard on me physically especially being a type 1 diabetic some of the hormones were bad for my blood sugars. After 4 years of trying and treatments we were blessed with the most amazing little boy through embryo adoption. He was born 6 weeks early but he is a fighter and was able to come home with us after 2 1/2 weeks of a NICU stay. He is now 4 and the sweetest , smart , kind and fun loving little guy. After our son was born we decided to continue to try and grow our family unfortunately we have continued to be unsuccessful. A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with severe Endometriosis which can have a serious impact on fertility and can cause many issues health wise. I had surgery to help with the pain I had been dealing with for years and the doctor was optimistic the surgery would make us be able to conceive. Unfortunately this hasn’t been the case for our family. We have been through a lot emotionally through this journey and are hopeful that we will be able to grow out family over time. We have lots of love to give and a little boy very persistently asking for a sibling.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this and any help no matter how small goes along way for our family. We are so grateful for all the love and help that has been provided to us throughout this journey and we will be forever grateful to you !
