Campaign Story

My name is Katie and my husband is Kyle. We have been married for 7 years now and are college sweethearts! We waiting several years before trying for a baby and now we have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We tried for a year naturally before seeking help from a doctor. We went on to have 4 unsuccessful IUIs. After this we switched clinics and this doctor suggested we move forward with IVF. The moment we decided this Covid hit and we got delayed for 6 months before being able to move forward with our egg retrieval which was hard for me because I’ve already waiting so long for my baby to be in my arms. We moved forward with the egg retrieval when we were finally able to. We got 5 embryos that we did not test. Our first transfer was shortly after. This FET ended in chemical pregnancy / miscarriage. We mourned our loss for a few months and finally decided it was time to move forward with FET#2. This one worked!! We got a Christmas Miracle! We were finally pregnant and viable ? so now we have our beautiful baby girl who just celebrated her 1st Christmas! Her birth story was pretty traumatic for us as well. We almost lost her due to her cord around her neck at 39 weeks. She was delivered c section code blue and had to be revived. So happy to have her in our arms!! We have a pretty heafty loan from having her since we had to do two transfers. We are hoping to do a Transfer for baby #2 in May and have no ability to get another loan. But we want to move forward now because I only have a few years before I turn 35 and fertility really decreases after that age. I don’t want to risk not being able to give another one of my embabies a chance at life!! We would really appreciate any help we can get! Even if it’s just $5. We would be so grateful! ? thank you all in advanced!
