Campaign Story

Hi, we are Megan and Mason Atherton. We are trying to grow our little family with in vitro fertilization (IVF). We have been trying to expand our family since our wedding in August of 2022. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) which has created many obstacles for us along the way. Since August we continue to undergo more testing, ultrasounds, lab work, and many doctor’s appointments. Mason and I have done three intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles that unfortunately were all unsuccessful. Our next option is IVF, which is scary and overwhelming. We have been working very hard to pay for everything on our own without asking for help. However, IVF is quite expensive and not covered by insurance. The reality is we need help…from our friends, family and support groups. One round of IVF is roughly $25,000-30,000. We are praying we get pregnant with one round of IVF. It is hard for us to share our struggle and ask for help but Mason and I can’t wait to expand our family. If you are willing to contribute to our little family we would greatly appreciate it. We know God has a plan for us and we are leaning into him. Please pray for us on this long journey we continue to face.
