Campaign Story

My name is Kendle Johnson. My husband Christopher and I have been trying to conceive for over a year. Myself already having an almost 11 year old, we thought it would be no problem! After no luck, scares, or anything or the sort, We started asking questions to doctors and going through infertility testing. Recently I underwent a surgery(laparoscopic & hysterscopic) that revealed my tubes being so damaged and clogged that conceiving naturally would not happen for me. This was absolutely devastating to us. All I’ve ever wanted was a big family, and now I’m just praying for one more. We were told IVF would be our only option. Then to find out, neither of our insurance will cover any infertility needed procedures. My husband is a veteran, and the VA would cover it if it was HIS problem, but since it is me, they will not. We both have full time jobs but IVF can reach up to 15,000$, and coming up with the needed money for the IVF up front is an struggle and makes the dream seem so much farther away. We are both 31 years old and are so ready to complete our family, Asking for help is my last resort.
