Hello, my name is Mai Kue Thao. I am a mother of 3 boys ages 18-8 years old and I have been diagnosed with PCOS for 7 years now. My partner and I have been trying for 4 years to have a baby with no luck. I’ve gone through numerous lab tests in the past for my PCOS. In the past 5 months I’ve also done a HSG study in depths to see if my fallopian tubes were closed. I’ve done multiple ultrasounds just for them to come back that my PCOS is causing all my hormones to be imbalanced.
My mental health has been on all sort of crazy roller-coaster rides knowing it’s my body that can’t have regular menstrual cycles and can’t ovulate. I’m currently on my 2nd dose of clomid hoping it can help me ovulate but no luck on my side so far. My doctor will only treat me for 6 months on clomid before she turns me away to IVF treatments due to my age. Any donation will help me a long way towards my fertility treatments.
