Hi! We are the Meza family – Brian, Sara and our 5 year old son. As far back as I (Sara) can remember, I have dreamed of having a large family. At 18, I learned that probably wouldn’t be possible because I have PCOS- Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, an common endocrine disorder that causes infertility in many women. Brian and I have been trying to get pregnant for 7 years. 5 years ago, God brought a special little boy into our lives. After fostering him for 2 years, we were able to adopt him.
In 2022, we decided to try fertility treatment and learned I needed surgery before that could happen. After the surgery we got pregnant naturally, but lost the baby at 5 weeks. At that time, we looked into embryo adoption and emailed a few families that had embryos left over from their own IVF cycles. We did not hear back from any of them.
Until now! In August 2023, one of those families reached out to see if we were still interested. After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to accept the three frozen embryos. Now we are praying about having a surrogate carry a baby for us due to my autoimmune conditions. We appreciate your prayers and any donations if you feel led to give.
