Hi! My name is Beth Even, and along with my husband, Tristen, am fundraising for the cost of fertility treatments.
We live in South Dakota with our 3.5 year old son, and our fertility journey started back in 2019 when we decided to start a family of our own. We got pregnant naturally with our son in June of 2020. Just 6 months after he was born, we decided to grow our family. We were shocked and heartbroken after trying for a year with no success. We found out that I have PCOS- something that affects 7-10% of women, and of those women, about 80% of them experience infertility. We never thought it would be us, but after working with a fertility clinic, medicated cycles and 2 IUI’s, and 17 long months trying- we conceived our daughter, McKinsey. After a healthy and uneventful 18 weeks of pregnancy, my water broke at 18 weeks and 2 days. We were devastated to lose our little girl, and it left, and still leaves, a huge hole in our family and our hearts. We decided to try again, and after a few more medicated cycles and IUI’s, we had no success. We took a break, and we even thought our family was complete, leading Tristen to get a vasectomy. I had immediate regrets and knew I still wanted to grow our family. 3 months later- Tristen found out his vasectomy failed!! We knew it was a sign and that we are meant to grow our family. Here is where we are asking for your help- if you have read our story and feel lead to, we are kindly asking for donations for fertility treatments. I need to get an SIS, and we most likely will need medications and IUI’s to conceive, and those are very expensive. We are trying to raise money to cover these costs and help us get truly our miracle baby!
