Campaign Story
I met my wife more than 2 years ago. I fell in love with her and her two young boys. Connor and Travis have both been diagnosed with adrenoleukodystrophy or ALD. ALD is a genetic disorder. The pictures attached are photos of the boys going through treatment for this disease. It is our hope and dream to have a child without this debilitating illness. Through in vitro fertilization we can have a child that does not carry the gene and can end this disease in our bloodline forever. Bri, their mother, is in school to become a veterinary technician. I, Sean, am a visually impaired business owner who runs a cafe at the Johnson Space Center that serves the employees there. We will be married in October and are then planning on building our own family together. Your grace, kindness and generosity are a blessing. Thank you so much.
