Campaign Story

Hi there! My name is Taylor and I have been on the solo path to pregnancy for a few years now and, like a lot of things, it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing.

When I began my journey, I went through all the normal testing to make sure I was set to start. That included the Hysterosalpingography, or HSG, test. During this test, the results showed that my right fallopian tube may be partially or totally blocked. As such, my doctor and I decided that we would only do an IUI procedure if I had at least one good follicle from the left ovary. That meant monthly ultrasounds and medications. The few times we were able to do the IUI procedure, it unfortunately did not work. As such, he recommended that I go to a fertility clinic.

I felt at ease and very hopeful with the clinic. They put me through some more tests, including another HSG test, and we discovered that my right fallopian tube is actually open. We crafted a good plan to try IVF and were ready to get started until I realized that with my previous IUI attempts and the extra testing, I would not be able to finance an IVF cycle. I find myself at a standstill.

There have been a lot of tears and moments of false hope over the last few years. I’m grateful for my support system and encouragement I have received. I want to thank you now from the bottom of my heart for helping me make this dream come true.
