Hello family and friends well some of you may know that I had a hysterectomy after my last baby do to irregular bleeding. I still have my ovaries and fallopian tubes, I just don’t have a uterus which is making it impossible for me to carry my own baby for my husband.

When me and James started dating I had told him I wasn’t able to have any more kids and I felt he was fine with that cause we was just dating.
Then things got serious to the point where he wanted to marry me.

Later on down the relationship we was talking about having kids together since I was going to be his wife I told him the only way is surrogacy. He was down with that but then again I wasn’t I didn’t want anyone else carrying our baby. Plus he is my husband and I wanted to carry our baby and have the experience with him.

So I decided to keep looking into things and a friend of mines had told me that they do uterus transplants and I was like what, how? I just didn’t believe it at all.. I looked into it and found a few programs that’s actually do uterus transplants.
I called and got all the information that I needed to qualify for the programs first thing they asked me was my weight. I felt some type of way she was like we only ask to make sure your BMI is 30 or under (which it was). Then she proceeds to say if we get approved for this procedure how we would have to relocate to where ever the program was based out of, It made sense but I was thinking we have to pick up our lives,leaving family, friends and our jobs. Whewww that’s a lot but We are both on board with this cause it’s something we both want..

We will need prayers and your encouragement I know some may think we are crazy, but this is our life and journey this will be the biggest adventure we have ever taken.

We will also need your financial support to make this dream come to true we are not saying break your pockets but any amount no matter how small, makes this a reality.

The hospital is covering all the medical costs estimated at $200,00 – 300,000 for the surgery and medications, which is great. But we are responsible for all IVF costs (around $20,000), all the OB appointments after getting pregnant, travel expenses and accommodations, relocation, and time off work.
