Hi, my name is Lesley and I have PCOS, or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. PCOS affects 1 in 10 women and makes it harder to conceive and comes with health concerns. My husband, Bryce, has male factor infertility as well. We had been trying for about a year and we decided to seek help. I knew it was most likely me, but to hear it was him too! Talk about a curveball! Bryce underwent a varicocelectomy, an enlargement of the veins within the scrotum in November 2022. Within the next 6 months his semen analysis was better, but not where we want it. His urologist prescribed Clomid and within 2 months his levels were so good!! While he was getting treated I starting see my endocrinologist in February 2023 I was diagnosed with PCOS. I had a HSG and a SGH test done. Both tubes are open and no uterine problems! Yay! I was prescribed thyroid medication and Letrozole since I don’t ovulate in my own. We were so excited to start the journey! Unfortunately, within 4 cycles of Letrozole I wasn’t pregnant. Next step for us was IUI well… after a long discussion with our Dr we moved on to IVF without doing IUI cycles. She deemed it best since we both have infertility and that’s where we are at now! We are so nervous, hopeful, scared, but most of all grateful to get the opportunity to have a baby! We are planning to have a December IVF cycle, so prepping for that as we speak!

Now that we have gone through the medical side of things I want people to know Bryce and I. Total cliché, but when Bryce and I first met it really was love at first sight. After three months of dating he moved down for me. Within 11 months we’re engaged. So you can say we move fast and know what we want. Bryce and I have always wanted kids and we hopefully will! Through this journey we have bettered our marriage. This journey is not for the weak. I’d like to think God brought this battle to Bryce and I because he saw fight and determination in us. We have come so far and beat obstacles most people would never be able to achieve and our journey is not over. We are becoming better people because of this journey. We are so thankful for coming this far when most people don’t get this opportunity!

Bryce and I have made this fundraiser to help with fertility treatments! Everything we’ve done for the past year has been out of pocket. This would take a lot of stress off Bryce and I and help us put all of our focus and energy into getting Baby Jones here! That said, if you can’t donate please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!!
